About Sandra Kay Morris
“Care giving is not a destination, it’s a journey and I want you to enjoy yours.”
Thank you for visiting my web-site. If you are a caregiver or are close to one, then welcome. I understand the challenges of care giving as I consider myself a perpetual caregiver. From High School days as an Aide, to helping my grandparents, at the end of their lives stay in their own home, to having my own Adult Family Home for nine year; I’d say I’ve been around that block.
The book I wrote: A Journey in Care Giving: and How to Enjoy it! contains stories and strategies that, I hope, gets you thinking in new ways about your life. Perhaps spinning a situation and taking it from dreary to delightful. Also understanding the importance of not only asking for help; but what help actually means to you.
I speak on this topic and have spoken for several different groups. I plan a blog that continues the conversation with additional insights and is actually, just plain entertaining. Please use the Contact Page if you would like to inquire about having me speak at your next group or conference.

I have two delightful children who after being raised in an Adult Family Home for a spell, are pretty special adults. My married daughter Nevada, a Dental Hygienist, gave me these two precious grandsons and my son Miles teaches biology in Arizona. I also have a passion for the radio and I dance at every opportunity!
